Od strony konstrukcyjne słuchawki to typowa konstrukcja zamknięta, z solidnym, wzmacnianym pałąkiem i elementami ruchomymi. W komplecie znajduje się kabel prosty. Wtyk jest typu konwertowanego – kabel zakończony jest wtykiem 3,5mm z możliwością nakręcenia przejściówki na rozmiar 6,3mm. Wtyk jest wykończony złotem 24k. MM185 wyposażone są w specjalny płaski przewód, który zapobiega plątaniu się kabla, a same słuchawki można złożyć by zajmowały mniej miejsca w przypadku transportu.
